Mukunda N. Singh, L.Ac. , Chinese Herbs & Reiki Practitioner
Mukunda N. Singh is a Licensed Acupuncturist and graduated with a Master's of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College
of Oriental Medicine. After learning the Usui system of Reiki, he continued to study other forms of natural medicine and to broaden his knowledge of the body's natural ability to heal itself. He takes a holistic approach to healing, bringing balance to the whole person and activating their own ability to heal themselves. While attending PCOM he specialized in Japanese acupuncture and interned at the San Diego Hospice and Palliative Care Inpatient Facility. He also completed a study-abroad program in China at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a focus on diabetes and respiratory disorders.
Mukunda's services range from Japanese acupuncture, Chinese herbal consultations and moxibustion to reiki energy healing. Japanese acupuncture is a relaxing way to remove energy blockages in the body, stimulate the health of the vital organs, and regain potential energy and vitality. Complementary to Japanese acupuncture, Chinese herbal consultations include an in depth medical history and prescription of natural Chinese herbs and medicinals. In addition to these healing modalities moxibustion may also be used to warm and activate acupuncture points. Lastly, reiki is a form of hands-on energy healing that allows the recipient to enter a deep state of relaxation and natural healing.

James McGuire, HHP
James received his Holistic Health Practitioners degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine here in San Diego. His main focus was in Tui Na (acupressure), while also studying Deep Tissue, Circulatory, Shiatsu and Sports Massage. He incorporates the different modalities into his treatments, but can stick to a specific massage if preferred.
James uses his training and intuition to target where the problems are and relieve them to give each client a personalized experience. Massages may be clothed or unclothed according to each clients preference. It is common to feel sore following some treatments but this will usually only lasts a day or so, then you will feel more relaxed, flexible, energized and aware of your body. Try to remember to drink lots of water before and after bodywork to help flush out the toxins released..
Because of his training in Eastern medicine, he looks at the client as a whole. He will sometimes ask questions that are not usually associated with a regular massage intake, but that is only to get a better idea of what stressors are in your life and what you put most of your energy into. Emotions, diet, exercise, hobbies and work are all topics sometimes covered. All of this information is helpful towards assessing what areas and acupressure points need to be included in the treatment and changes that need to be made in the client` s lifestyle to help them reach their goals.
Some of the main disorders treated through Tui Na therapy are, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, rotator cuff injuries, whiplash, TMJ, low back pain, sciatica, sprained joints, reproductive/PMS issues, digestive and respiratory problems, chemotherapy and post-surgical trauma associated with low circulation and excessive scar tissue build up.

All of my sessions are customized to fit your individual needs. My work environment is a safe and comfortable haven, one where you can feel open to healing and growth through the exploration of self and body mind awareness.
I would love the opportunity to help your body feel its best.

Pam Aiello - A.S. Holistic Studies
Pamela Aiello is a current massage student at IPSB pursuing an associate of Science Degree. She has been attending massage school since 2007. Ross Weaver, her instructor at IPSB was her first connection into Zen. She really enjoys the relaxing atmosphere and feels at home since many of her fellow students and instructors have made Zen a successful place to give quality bodywork.
Health and wellness has always a part of Pamela’s upbringing. As a child, she was raised on natural healthy home cooked meals and was treated with natural home remedies when she got sick. Encouraged to be active, she played soccer and took swim lessons since a small child. Growing up, Pamela was always taught the benefits of practicing a healthy and active lifestyle. These methods of treatment were so effective, that as a young adult she decided to start administering them herself.
Now she believes that a mindful, balanced lifestyle is the basis for overall wellness. The balance that can be achieved through nourishment and activity has initiated a passion inside her to share these benefits with others. This sparked her interest in the holistic health profession. To this day, Pamela continues to practice a healthy active lifestyle in order to achieve her level of balance. Some of her hobbies include cooking and creating new recipes, running, biking, swimming or trying new classes at the gym.
A native New Yorker, raised in the suburbs she moved out to San Diego to pursue her career in holistic health. She loves and appreciates the multiple health benefits of massage and educating her clients on them, as well. She believes bodywork is a way of life, health and healing. The more deep loving touch we receive the more aware we become of our bodies, our emotions, and our place here in life.
“I believe massage is crucial to achieving mind body balance. This essentially becomes a journey of self-discovery and self-love. I truly believe that this journey is very precious and personal and I am grateful that I can be apart of it through massage. I put my heart and soul into each session I have with my clients and strive to bring a new level of awareness through massage.”
Pamela practices a blend of modalities including circulatory/Swedish massage, deep tissue sculpting, and sensory re-patterning. She is looking forward to furthering her education and expanding her knowledge of several other modalities.

in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Acupressure and Shiatsu. Her technique is a mixture of all these styles but she tailors each treatment to fit each person. She has worked on men and women from ages 3 to 92, from many different backgrounds in life and truly enjoys her work. She recently moved from NYC to finish her graduate studies in Eastern Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she is learning acupuncture, herbs and tuina. Her intention is to be a positive force in the inevitable bridging of Eastern and Western Medicine.

Yul De Los Rios, HHP
Yul De Los Rios is a Holistic Health Practitioner whose background in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork emphasizes the use of Asian Bodywork systems based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Yul attended the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where he received extensive training and certification in the Asian Arts and the International Professional School of Bodywork in order to support his existing knowledge of the Western approach to Bodywork and Therapeutic Massage. His interest in Oriental Medicine and Bodywork was sparked by his exposure to Taoist philosophy, Martial Arts, and Dit Dat Jow (a Chinese Herbal Liniment used in Martial Arts to stimulate Qi/blood flow and is also intended to prevent trauma due to impact while training). Yul decided to explore the healing aspect of the Martial Arts by pursuing the Asian Healing Arts altogether so that he could share the principles and concepts of self-healing/self-awareness, balance, and conditioning with others whose lifestyles do not permit mental, physical, and emotional exploration and progression as one.
